About the Role
As HR Business Partner, you will be embedded with business leaders and act as a trusted advisor across the employee lifecycle. You’ll help align people strategy with business goals, drive talent and performance initiatives, support change and transformation, and ensure employee experience and HR compliance remain best-in-class.
Key Responsibilities
◦ Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into people actions - workforce planning, organisational design, talent development and performance.
◦ Lead and support performance management processes: goal setting, reviews, feedback, improvement plans.
◦ Develop and roll out learning and career progression programmes, coaching managers and teams to build skills and grow talent.
◦ Design and implement a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy for our Barcelona team - ensuring competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with our global philosophy.
◦ Manage complex employee relations cases: investigations, grievance management, disciplinary processes, ensuring consistency and legal compliance.
◦ Champion company culture, values and engagement: develop recognition, well-being, hybrid/remote team programmes, and DE&I initiatives.
◦ Oversee HR policies, procedures and compliance with Spanish (and where relevant international) employment legislation.
◦ Use HR data and metrics to identify trends, propose solutions and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Your profile
◦ Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role, preferably in a fast-moving tech or digital company.
◦ Strong knowledge of Spanish employment law and HR best practices; capacity to work in a European or global HR context.
◦ Proven track record in performance management, change management, employee relations and compensation strategy.
◦ Excellent stakeholder management: ability to build credibility with senior leaders and influence across functions.
◦ Strong communication skills in Spanish and English. Additional European languages are a plus.
◦ Agile, flexible, and able to execute with a hands-on mindset in a high-growth, evolving environment.
◦ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
◦ A master’s or specialised HR qualification is advantageous.
